ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Global Vaccine Equity

The project is a research project into the issue of proportional allocation of vaccines. It specifically looks at the COVID-19 pandemic and COVAX. Furthermore, it proposes policy based solutions for future pandemics.

About the Millennium Fellow

Mehek Dedhia is a junior studying neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania. Having volunteered in various healthcare settings, she has firsthand seen the impact of disproportionate access to healthcare. Outside of class, she can be found working at her neuroscience research lab, spending time with friends and family or reading.
