" Community involvement is very important to me, and I think a large part of a community’s success is its ability to tackle critical issues. I am very excited to be a Millennium Fellow, and to have the opportunity to apply the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to my local community to help ensure it is viable for everyone. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Creating Sustainable School Supply Kits for Students

With this project, the goal is to create sustainable tool kits for students, containing school supplies made of sustainable materials including a metal ruler, metal pencil sharpener, cotton pencil pouch, wooden pencils, and biodegradable erasers. Through the utilization of these products, it helps to eliminate the use of plastic in the process.
