Millennium Fellowship Project: Kitakid Foundation

Kit-A-Kid is a 501 (c) (3) Non-profit Foundation whose Mission is to identify and support vulnerable children in the community of Kaloleni in Nairobi, Kenya. Our goal is to make a positive, life-long impact on the children of Kaloleni by providing them with an education, and keeping them away from the poverty pitfalls of crime, drugs, prostitution, and gangs.

Our first step toward achieving this goal is to enroll them in a structured soccer program led by coaches who support the kids on the field as well as in the classroom. As the children develop, they will learn determination, self-confidence, and accountability to their teammates.
