In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. Millennium Fellowship Project: Dream Chasers
The project aims to equip underprivileged children with the necessary life needs that every child must have such as and not limited to: food, shelter, clothes, education, access to health, guidance and counselling, mentorship. The project is inspired by a high school Christian group( Christian Life Community) thst used to fundraising activities every month to donate groceries and other sundries to a local orphanage. Spending a day with the kids would mean a lot to them, they would enjoy and have fun playing games and being very sociable. So I thought it is our responsibility to fill in that gap and act as these children's elder siblings, guiding them as they grow so that they can navigate their way in life while also providing the necessary resources for them.
About the Millennium Fellow
Nigel Nyadongo is a visionary, focused young gentleman who is a medical student at the University of Zimbabwe. Besides advocating for equitable access to healthcare, he also has a profound interest in achieving a number of Sustainable Development goals and is a team player who enjoys participating in various group projects of any kind.
