ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Healthy Hearing Zimbabwe

Healthy Hearing Zimbabwe is an initiative that seeks to create awareness on ear and hearing health issues in Zimbabwe. By focusing on education, training, advocacy, and collaboration with local governments, NGOs and health leaders, our goal is to make hearing health services more accessible for the Zimbabwean commnunity.

About the Millennium Fellow

Tinotenda Lois Mhlanga is a twenty-two year old from the strikingly beautiful country of Zimbabwe on the southern part of Africa . She reflects a varied personality including ambition and qualities of generosity and thoughtfulness. A determined and vigorous individual, yet pleasantly calm. As a full time student, Tinotenda is motivated by her love for learning and succeeding as she strives to become an outstanding and successful woman in today’s society. With the definitive goal of becoming a Doctor of Audiology and working with non-profit organizations, she is currently completing a Honors degree in Audiology, at the University of Zimbabwe in Harare, Zimbabwe. Throughout her high school years, Tinotenda has successfully organized various philanthropic projects, which she plans to continue in the future. Having voluntarily worked with various non-profit , she has also managed to build her knowledge and skills in teamwork, leadership and service.
Driven by her innate nature to help others, Tinotenda aspires to be that change, that she wants to see in the world!
