United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Inaayat
Project Inaayat is an initiative of students of XIM University, Bhubaneswar India; organised under the auspices and aegis of the Millennium fellowship, in co-ordination with United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI). The project aims to advance Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good health and well-being and UNAI principle 6; commitment to human rights. The project name "Inaayat" is inspired by the team's noble intentions of kindness and compassion; realized by the trajectory of educational advancements and debunking mental health taboos. The team consists of Millennium fellows (from the Class of 2021), committed to educate, advocate and support the cause of mental health and well being (SDG: 3). Since their motto is "Your Story Matters", Project Inaayat creates platform for the students of the University and across to share their voices and organise awareness campaigning through webinars, competitions and interactions in their social channels.
About the Millennium Fellow
Anuja Tripathy is a promising young student having a world vision, and currently is studying as a second-year student in the School of Economics in the BSc Economics under graduation program in Xavier University (XIM), Bhubaneswar. She was born in the capital city of Bhubaneswar in the state of Odisha and had her schoolings in Bhubaneswar and Mumbai. She has excelled in her academic career throughout her school career and has also volunteered to participate in many extracurricular activities with success. She has always been passionate about the upliftment of women in the society and equal opportunities for them in every field. She strongly believes in social justice and is a proud feminist. She loves to write and is a keen observer of all the happenings around her. She empathizes with people and their problems, and she has also visited many NGOs in the past which work towards helping women in need. She aspires to take active part in such socially relevant projects to pursue her interest in such activities meaningfully.
