ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Inaayat

Project Inaayat is an initiative of students of XIM University, Bhubaneswar India; organised under the auspices and aegis of the Millennium fellowship, in co-ordination with United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI). The project aims to advance Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good health and well-being and UNAI principle 6; commitment to human rights. The project name "Inaayat" is inspired by the team's noble intentions of kindness and compassion; realized by the trajectory of educational advancements and debunking mental health taboos. The team consists of Millennium fellows (from the Class of 2021), committed to educate, advocate and support the cause of mental health and well being (SDG: 3). Since their motto is "Your Story Matters", Project Inaayat creates platform for the students of the University and across to share their voices and organise awareness campaigning through webinars, competitions and interactions in their social channels.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ipsita Mishra is a bright, young and globally competitive Economics student at the Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar(XIMB). she was born in the odissa, near angul and currently studying in xavier university , bhubaneswar; truly a citizen of the world . for as long as she could remember, Ipsita has been always been passionate about good health with haealthy mind set. this drive and ardour translate itself from Ipsita to experiences in the international coummunity and show her continuous dedication to social action. she will successfully organize this project and make sure the concept behind this get to many people in her community. Ipsita hope to continue this work in future also with hergreat leadership. she will provide her own contribution in the development of the United Nations 'Sustainable Goals'.
