United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Inaayat

Project Inaayat is an initiative of students of XIM University, Bhubaneswar India; organised under the auspices and aegis of the Millennium fellowship, in co-ordination with United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI). The project aims to advance Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good health and well-being and UNAI principle 6; commitment to human rights. The project name "Inaayat" is inspired by the team's noble intentions of kindness and compassion; realized by the trajectory of educational advancements and debunking mental health taboos. The team consists of Millennium fellows (from the Class of 2021), committed to educate, advocate and support the cause of mental health and well being (SDG: 3). Since their motto is "Your Story Matters", Project Inaayat creates platform for the students of the University and across to share their voices and organise awareness campaigning through webinars, competitions and interactions in their social channels.

About the Millennium Fellow

Niyati Modi is an open-minded,inquisitive,self-motivated and a competitive person.
She is someone who takes pride in being an Indian. She currently lives in Vizianagaram in the state of Andhra Pradesh. She comes from commerce background and her interest towards Economics has led her to pursue Bsc in Economics from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
She is passionate about bringing some positive changes in the society and creating a difference in making the society a better place to live in by whatever she does , she wants to work for the causes like social equality& justice, good health & wellbeing and clean evironment. She doesn't wants to miss any chance where she gets to make her contributions towards these issues. She considers herself to be a global citizen and each day aspires to learn more about the world she lives in , to get a clear picure of the issues and strives to make the smallests of the contributions towards resolving them atleast locally by participating in the awareness progammes realted to environment,health that were conducted in her school and groups and has taken part in plantation programmes at her home and also in far off places.
