Millennium Fellowship Project: Diabetes and Hypertension: Measure It! Control It! Stay Healthy!

My project is in conjunction with SDG 3: Good health and well-being! Because of the high rate of deaths following the complications of Disbetes and Hypertension in my society(deaths that could be avoided only if people knew their blood sugar levels and blood pressure measurements) , it sparked my intrest in creating an awareness on regularly checking our blood pressure and blood sugar levels so we could know where we lie and carry out prompt treatment as soon as possible before the deleterious effects begins to set in.

About the Millennium Fellow

Adrams Uwaifo is a fifth year medical student of Ambrose Alli University, Nigeria. He is passionate About community and public health. And one disease that has ravaged his community is Diabetis Melitus and forever this reason he has decided to use the MCN as a platform to try to achieve his goal of reaching out to the community about this ravaging disease. He is appreciative of this opportunity and he is thankful of being selected too. He is going to do his best to reach out accordingly.
