" The Millennium Fellowship is where I can flourish and develop into the person I aspire to be. It is where I meet other young, passionate and inspiring leaders across the world. It is where I transform my ideas in to something tangible. To sum it all up, I believe that Millennium fellowship is my gateway into endless opportunities. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Health fluency

Health Fluency is a project that is designed to create awareness about several health issues common in our area among primary and secondary school students. I believe prevention is better than cure, especially in our country where resources are limited. That is why we have come to design this project. In line with this, medical students will also develop the necessary skills and knowledge to become competent health advocators. This project is currently ongoing under the standing committee on public health which is one of the six standing committees of EMSA-AA and I am currently working as a project manager.
EMSA-AA is an abbreviation that stands for Ethiopian medical students’ association –Addis Ababa. EMSA is one of the national member organizations under IFMSA which stands for the international federation of medical students’ association. Under EMSA there are 6 standing committees and SCOPH is one of them. SCOPH stands for the standing committee on public health.
