" "The Millennium Fellowship program is an excellent opportunity to learn from great leaders and change makers worldwide and also connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about making positive impact in the world through the achievement of the SDGs. It will enable me to develop new skills, sharpen my existing ones while sharing my knowldge and passion, and work on my project effectively." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: AIDS Alert

AIDS Alert is a project that works on raising awareness on HIV, its prevalence, its transmission and prevention, the difference between HIV and AIDS and the importance of getting tested among high school and university students. It aims to decrease the incidence rate of HIV among adolescents by empowering them with knowledge and also decrease the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS.
The awareness creation will be in the form of trainings and discussions and we plan to reach at least 4 campuses during the Millennium Fellowiship period. At least 80% of the participants will have increased knowledge on HIV, and its transmission and prevention.
