" I am looking forward to this Millennium Fellowship program as it will enable me to take this project I have planned to the next level. I believe that this Fellowship will give me the chance to connect with like minded people so that I can share my ideas and learn alot from them while implementing my goals. By carrying out this project, I am confident that I will be able to contribute towards the betterment of the health status of women. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Breast Cancer Awareness Project

This project is about educating women older than 30 on self breast examination techniques and other screening methods. Its main goal is to educate women on the importance of early screening and diagnosis of breast cancer for better prognosis and treatment options. The target places are out patient departments of Ghandi Memorial Hospital( a governmental hospital dedicated only to obstetrics and gynecology cases ) and Black Lion Specialized Hospital.
We also plan to prepare and post self breast examination videos by using our own local languages and sign languages on social medias to make it more accessible to a larger group of people.
