Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Plastics To Bricks

To start with, PTB means: Plastics to Bricks. It is the conversion of water sachets into pavement bricks. The water sachets are LDPE (low density polyethylene).
Annually, millions of tons of carbon emissions are being emitted from the burning of plastics into the environment, which leads to the depletion of the Ozone layer, increase in ocean acidity that negatively affects life below water; when it comes in contact with the Ocean, and a major contributing factor to global warming and climate change phenomena.
Project PTB is aimed at mitigating the uncontrollable need to burn or dispose these plastics into the environment (both land and water), thus, reducing to a significant percentage: the amount of CO2 being released, the potential increase in ocean acidity that leads to the death of fishes (likewise a decrease in the income of fish farmers), and the poor air quality for everyone, especially children, aged people, and people with chronic respiratory conditions.
