Millennium Fellowship Project: Substance abuse and addiction among Nigerian university students.
It aims to create awareness about the harm that substance abuse and addiction is causing to Nigerian University students and render help in collaboration with my school authorities. The options are rehabilitation, therapy and counseling.
About the Millennium Fellow
Imoluamen Mercy Osemegbe is a 20 year old dental student of Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. She was born in Lagos and currently lives in Lagos, Nigeria. Mercy has always been an ambitious, assertive and highly determined young lady who has been passionate about the vices the youth in Nigeria engage in and how to incredibly improve the society.
She has particularly proven to be a leader through our her high school years by being involved in solution providing concerning issues that affect her classmates. This has continued all the way to her university level as she is the current Vice President of her prestigious dental association. Mercy plans to venture into global health where she can provide solution and use her leadership skills to contribute to the development of better health for the youths and development of United Nation's sustainable goals.
