Millennium Fellowship Project: Go With The Flow

The essence of this project is to educate young women about their menstrual cycle, while correcting misconceptions on menstrual hygiene and teaching them the right way to go about it.

About the Millennium Fellow

Umoh Uduakabasi Odukanam is a 26 year old medical student of Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria.
She was born and raised in Nigeria, she still resides in Nigeria where she hopes to be of impact, create something that catalyses the change she hopes to see.
Since childhood she has always wondered why things were different when it came to females. With her medical knowledge she has seen some gaps she can apply herself, teach preventive and healthy practices to better the lifes of these women and in turn the society. She knows that women empowerment transforms not just her but her family, community and generations to come.
