" "One of my biggest dreams is to become a servant leader. I am passionate about changing lives and making more and more people smile. I believe that there is so much potential in a healthy society. This is why I strive to promote quality healthcare and a sustainable environment. I am sure that being part of the Millennium Fellowship will equip me with the right skills and knowledge to create the change I want to see in my community." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Fayya Traditional Healing
My project is about promoting the use of traditional medicinal plants in Ethiopia. In the past few months since the beginning of the fellowship, I have developed a guidebook about traditional medicines in Ethiopian communities. This guidebook has created more visibility for medicinal herbs, and people have been interacting with the book, and the perceptions towards medicinal herbs have changed positively.
