Millennium Fellowship Project: ShePower
This is a project that aims to empower girls and women in the community through 3 different levels; Leveraging STEM training, Providing a platform where the girls can voice out ideas, opinions and work on projects based on their areas of interest, connecting with potential partners to oversee the projects, training, sourcing of resources and proactively pursuing projects that solve various problems from the grassroots level
About the Millennium Fellow
Susan Ndinda Muia is a differentiated thinker and a natural leader, currently in her third year pursuing Business Management at the African Leadership University. Born in Nairobi, Kenya, she is currently residing and studying in Mauritius: a state that fits one of her passions of traveling. Living and experiencing the vulnerability of being a woman and coming from a marginalized background, she developed an urge to pursue the path that is at the nexus of women's empowerment, human rights, and policymaking. As a result, she is on a journey to make a contribution toward the United Nations’ Sustainable Goals.
