" I value networking, leadership, teamwork, and innovation. Accessing the right opportunities, and receiving an uninterrupted education in the 21st Century is equally important. I am lucky to have people who believe in my potential invest me, but there are people who are motivated but do not have such privileges. As a Millennium Fellow I am excited about the resources I can leverage to contribute to my society. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: My Scholars Hub

This project seeks to bridge the gap between rural high school students and educational opportunities. We strive to provide these students with access to resources they need to pursue their educational goals

About the Millennium Fellow

Favour Madubuko is a brilliant young student pursuing a Computer Science degree at one of Africa's finest universities - Ashesi University - as a MasterCard Foundation Scholar. He has always been passionate about healthcare and education, as he had grown up in a society where tertiary students' education has been jeopardized by lack of funds and incessant industrial actions. He is optimistic that the plight of students can be improved; hence he is passionate about Human Development.
He has dedicated himself to various volunteer experiences and has demonstrated leadership skills through these volunteer experiences. His long-term career goal is deeply rooted in professional advocacy for human development and healthy living, thus seeking to contribute to the United Nations' Sustainable Development goal 4.
