" With the right tools and a strong drive, anyone can help the betterment of their surroundings. This program will aid me to gain the skills and mindset necessary to create a social impact. Also, by working with like-minded individuals from all over the world, I am excited to learn more about their view of the world and what drives them to do what they do. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Interlude
At Interlude, we are building an online platform & community to support & guide gap year students in India. We will also help fight the stigma of taking a gap year within this country.
We will do this by offering:
- Mental Health Support
- Access to relevant opportunities (such as internships & online courses)
- Traveling groups
- Upskilling Workshops
And most importantly,
- A group of like-minded peers to support the gap year students throughout their year journey
The benefits of taking a gap year typically outweigh the downsides, and we hope to bring the opportunity of a gap year to a larger audience within India.
