Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Romoni
Project “Romoni ”, aims to distribute reusable pads for girls in Bangladesh who have just started their periods, along with conducting Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) sessions for them.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ishrifet Bin Islam Timnu is a motivated and passionate student pursuing her undergraduate degree on Environmental Science at Asian University for Women. She was born in Oman and is currently residing and studying in Bangladesh, her motherland. Seeing the world around her wilting and dying Ishrifet grew to believe that it is her duty, as a resident of this planet, to contribute to sustaining and protecting the environment. Ishrifet hopes to gain adequate knowledge and experience in her field before graduating so that she can bring a change and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.
