" "Working for the ultimate betterment of people and lending a helping hand in their times of need is one of the most important values I carry with me. I am very eager to be a part of this Millennium Fellowship Program as it will allow me to enrich my leadership and communication skills as well as it will allow me to meet with many other Fellows from different parts of the world and share thoughts and ideas about sustainable development. I believe through this program I will be able to evolve myself as an individual and learn many different aspects and skills that will pave my way to working for UN-based organizations." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Khaddo Daan
Working on SGD 2: Zero Hunger, a group of enthusiastic AUW students who are always eager to assist those in need founded Project Khaddo Daan. They took this as the inspiration for the name of their group, Feed The Need. Project Khaddo Daan aims to reduce food wastage and poverty by collecting leftover edible food from restaurants and delivering them to orphanages, old age homes, and homeless & needy people in Chittagong.
This project was founded by Masooma Shabbar who has made it her lifelong mission to help those in need. We are 8 core members who are working on this initiative. The other group members are as follows:
