" I am very passionate about advancing educational equity. Every person has a right to excellent education and to feel safe in their learning environment. My major and minor allow me to explore issues of educational attainment and how our education system can be improved; I hope to implement measures to make education in the U.S. more equitable and inclusive throughout my time in college and future career. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Eagles for Educational Equity

Eagles for Educational Equity is a Boston College student-led program that partners with Boston Public School students. Eagles for Educational Equity brings flexibility, an open-mind, and creativity to the college application process for students with higher education aspirations. In listening to student voices and acting in response, we hope to alleviate barriers and concerns to the college process so that students in the Boston Public School area can feel empowered in creating the future they want for themselves. We hope to reduce the education gap by providing resources to students who may otherwise not have access.
