" I am so excited to be a Millennium Fellow because I thrive in spaces of collaboration and creativity. As well, I have a strong passion for curating projects that will have a micro and macro social impact. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Eagles for Educational Equity

Eagles for Educational Equity is a Boston College student-led program that partners with Boston Public School students. Eagles for Educational Equity brings flexibility, an open-mind, and creativity to the college application process for students with higher education aspirations. In listening to student voices and acting in response, we hope to alleviate barriers and concerns to the college process so that students in the Boston Public School area can feel empowered in creating the future they want for themselves. We hope to reduce the education gap by providing resources to students who may otherwise not have access.

About the Millennium Fellow

Erin is a senior at Boston College with an education, mathematics, and management background, interested in roles of higher education, brand strategy, recruitment, student development, policy, and research. I am a meticulous, ambitious worker, and have a background in nonprofit management spaces, as well as traditional, boarding, and hands-on classrooms from Boston, to Andover, and the US Virgin Islands. I have an immense passion for equitable education for children all across the globe, and I seek positions that will elevate my impact on these students in need.
