Millennium Fellowship Project: Eagles for Educational Equity

Eagles for Educational Equity is a Boston College student-led program that partners with Boston Public School students. Eagles for Educational Equity brings flexibility, an open-mind, and creativity to the college application process for students with higher education aspirations. In listening to student voices and acting in response, we hope to alleviate barriers and concerns to the college process so that students in the Boston Public School area can feel empowered in creating the future they want for themselves. We hope to reduce the education gap by providing resources to students who may otherwise not have access.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ryan Patrick is an industrious and dedicated student in Boston College’s Lynch School of Education. For Ryan’s entire life, he has been immersed in athletics. More recently, his focus has shifted from playing competitively to helping lead a group of younger athletes as a volunteer coach in the greater Boston area. Ryan is committed to ensuring that every child he works with is given the opportunity not only to play sports, but to learn valuable life lessons and have fun along the way.
