Being a part of Millennium Fellowship will helps me to develop all those team work and collaboration skills to solve common world problems and accomplished SDGs. The skills and experiences i will learn and gain will surely increase my influence on my university community and the society at large within the framework of UNAI principles and SDGs

Millennium Fellowship Project: Unity For Peace Intiative

this project is aims about having of a well versed peace in the country by washing and removing conflict inducing thoughts, bad attitudes not only by learning this but unlearning those bad things as well

About the Millennium Fellow

Hailemariam Eyayaw Mitiku is dynamic, flexible, focused, a purpose driven and determined undergraduate Fifth year(Last year) law student at Bahir Dar university School of Law_one of prominent and highest ranked public university in Ethiopia. He was born in Ethiopia and living in Ethiopia. He is currently serve as President of Bahir Dar University Human Rights Club, representative of SHAER ( Stimulating Healthy African European Relationship ) which works on eradicating poverty in Africa by struggling the unequal trade relationships through equal trade movement and campaign. Hailemariam has also participated in successful community services with a demonestrated history of working in non-profit organizations management ( President of Abyssinia Volunteering Association _working on disabled university students and street children, helping the poor. He was also served as an executive of Bahir Dar University Law Students Union and Represent Ethiopiawinnet Council for the Defence of Citizen Rights in Bahir Dar University Chapter. He plan to specializing in International Human Rights Law and international relations.He believe that he will thrive in this areas of law with his strong work ethic and special interest in this field. He have high capacity to work in group, responsible and willing to to learn. Various powerful legal skills such as legal advice, legal writing and research, analysis and advocacy skills, leadership, public speaking. He is providing Free Lega Aid Service for prisoners of Bahir Dar City Prison Administration and currently contributing for the success of SDGs of United Nations.
