" "I think it is through experiences we develop strategies. A platform like this brings people together. With the diversity of ideas and the unity of intention we can really do some amazing things. I get to have a fulfilling time here by connecting with people and learning from them, being more in touch with the world around me & in the end by contributing some, actions similar to which has brought a woman like me so far." In Bangladesh we have a very big issue of a lack of space for patient attendees and visitors in hospitals. In a hospital design there should be a significant amount of space for these people along with patients. My target would be creating awareness among hospital developers, architects or design firms so there is a particular space designated for the attendees and visitors, which would be beneficial for all the members in a hospital setting. I have currently targeted and obtained permission for a government hospital (Kuwait-Bangladesh Friendship Govt. Hospital) in Dhaka to arrange seminars in order to make the people responsible more conscious of the issue and will be holding discussions on how to mitigate patient attendee and visitors’ crowds. The major factor here is that it is merely a design flaw as there tends to be enough space for creating a designated place for some people but it’s the lack of consideration that makes a lot of designers & developers skip that part.
