Millennium Fellowship Project: Community Care

Community care' is a project that will target to fix many social dysfunctionalities, the project aims to care for and give voice to the voiceless. especially the poor of the poorest, incarcerated people, rural women, young people and disadvantage community in Africa and some third world countries. There are many people living in communities where there is lack of basic amenities, such as access to quality education, basic health care, access to media and information etc. Also people in the incarceration centers lacks behind as many incarcerated people are in total restrictions and as such lacks access to this facilities and amenities as well, thus the possibility of them being able to reintegrate into the society to live a normal and crime free life is limited, and the government does less to assist these set of people to have them fully integrated into the larger community to be able to compete with others and survive. Hence community care; plans to engage these set of individuals who are highly disadvantage, especially the homeless, the incarcerated, and the poor women in rural areas and ensure they have access to quality education, acess to media and information and to help them reintegrate in the society.
