About the Millennium Fellow
Fanyu Gracious Beri is an undergraduate reading Medical Laboratory sciences at the University of Buea, Cameroon. Being the firstborn of her parents ,she has always had to work very hard to make her family proud. Nonetheless, this caused her to enter into a depression state as the pressure from family became overwhelming. With the help of her mum who became her support system, she was able to overcome and become more confident about herself. This experience has created in her a passion for mental health and the desire to help many out there looking for someone to hear them out.
