Millennium Fellowship Project: Lessen Youthful Abuse Of Drugs

With the increasing rate in inflation leading to economic crisis as a result of the ongoing political conflict in Cameroon, unhealthy habits especially Drug Abuse within young people of the Buea Municipality is becoming high with a present prevalence of 89.9% among tertiary schools (as proposed by Conrald Ekukole Metuge, Clinical Research Education, Networking Consultancy, Yaoundé, Cameroon).
This project has served and is serving as a platform of combating such practices by creating Youth interactive workshops (clubs) and sessions in schools around the Buea Community that will bring youths together inorder to effectively put up strategies to reduce the rate of Drug abuse.
Through this project, many youths have been brought out of the shadows and addictions to toxic substances such as shisha and Marijuana. The youths have also been made to understand the dangers with getting and using drugs without prescriptions for a certified Medical practitioner.
