Millennium Fellowship Project: Environmental Club of BUP (EnCBUP)
Environmental Club of BUP (EnCBUP) is the very first club of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) which has been initiated with a view to spreading environmental awareness and accomplishing environmental sustainability. It is the arena of all the nature lovers & environmental enthusiasts of BUP who seek for a cleaner, greener & better environment. The planet Earth is a sanctuary for life. Our beautiful abode is progressively losing its greenery and glory because of our anthropogenic activities. Environmental pollution and climate change is making our earth inhabitable. To revive our earth and combat the climate crisis, multi-sectoral and multi-stakeholder involvement is required. That is why the Environmental Club of BUP has been established with the mission of to protect and improve the environment of our community as well as of our country by promoting awareness of the current state of the environment. The motto of this club is “Caring for Nature, Saving the Future” which unfurls the core vision of this club.
About the Millennium Fellow
Shourovy Das is a young and bright students in B.sc hon's in Environmental Science Department at Bangladesh University of Professionals. She was born in Bangladesh. Shourovy has always been passionate for working in develop the sustainable strategies to protect the environment and resolve challenging environmental issues which is affecting nature.
