" “Being part of the Millennium Fellowship will not just help me in gaining skills in problem-solving and comprehend better the problems of my community, but also intensify my creative and teamwork skills. With the skills gained from the Millennium Fellowship, I will be able to contribute an impact on my school and community on the importance and necessity of contributing to the United Nations’ Sustainable goals. I am curious and excited to be a part of a change for a better world, by learning different and unique ways to see the world and know how to solve its problems.” "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Jóvenes Líderes por el Valle

Jóvenes Líderes por el Valle is a project created by student leaders who are passionate about generating social impacts that change the community and the world.
The project focuses on three fundamental areas for the good development of the rural areas of the Mexicali Valley: Ecology, through the establishment of objectives to conserve the flora and fauna of the ecosystem and to raise awareness among the population about environmental issues. Education, by offering educational workshops that benefit society. And Health, by developing proposals to improve the quality of life of citizens.
We believe that with the development of this project we can generate a positive change not only for the current community but also for future generations.
