Millennium Fellowship Project: Sarvodya
Millennium Fellows, Christ University NCR, initiated protected ‘Sarvodya’ which translates to universal upliftment. Fellows launched independent schemes and also partnered with the CSA (Centre for Social Action) through introducing a social initiative in the form of a social responsibility week in and around the Campus. This joint initiative was named "Navaarambh week", which is a Hindi word for a new beginning. This initiative aimed to encourage the values of social responsibility among all individuals, mainly the youth. The goal of this project was to urge the conscience of individuals and make them more socially aware and responsible. All 17 SDGs were incorporated.
About the Millennium Fellow
Anoushka Parijat Rudra is a third-year BSc. Economics honors student of Christ ( Deemed to be University) Delhi NCR. She has a special interest in health and rural Economics. She has volunteered with multiple NGOs and interned with startups and corporates. She wants to contribute toward gender mainstreaming and the local economy in developing countries. Her project will emphasize sexual and reproductive health, adolescent health, and the empowerment of youth by creating awareness of human rights.
