Millennium Fellowship Project: Buddy Learning Programme

Buddy Learning is a programme inspired from the University's Centre for Social Action Wing. It is an initiative by college students to teach other interested college students, and school-going children on various different topics. These topics can range across simple personal interests like "Photography" to academic subjects like "Economics". The whole essence of this Programme is to encourage peer learning and through it, educate a wider audience in a cheaper and friendly way. The ultimate aim of the programme is to ensure education, in additional, alternative ways, not just by a teacher or a qualified master, but also by your friends. This will enable them to receive quality education at low to no costs, and knowledge in a wider field, rather than just the accepted curriculum. The long-term objective is for these participant students to widen their career options or even simply, their interests. This programme would help in building the capacity and capabilities of an individual and equip them for the fast-changing world.
