Millennium Fellowship Project: The Parity Project
The Parity Project was created with the primary goal of achieving gender equality in primary education.
We believe that gender inclusivity can only be ingrained at an early age, and education is the strongest tool in our possession to achieve a disparity and bias free world. Thus, the project aims to create gender-inclusive modules of education and work towards their spread in primary education in India.
About the Millennium Fellow
Harshita Singh is a student currently in her third year, pursuing Economics Honors in CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, India. She is extremely passionate about the subject of economics and also holds keen enthusiasm for co-curricular as well. She believes that the desire to bring about a change within and around ourselves is the key to growth. This desire has driven her to be very active when it comes to volunteering, helping out, listening to others, and bringing about change. Her past experiences have led her to develop essential leadership skills and crucial teamwork practices. This drive has brought her to the platform of Millennium Fellowship, where she wishes to apply all of her skills and further develop them in order to achieve sustainable goals.
