" Being a person who has always been a part of social service throughout my life, this opportunity is an excellent platform for me to give back to society and take the United nation's sustainable goals forward. Up to a considerable extent, the Fellowship will give me access to various students across the world which could help me learn and become a better person. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Parity Project

Our primary objective is to utilize education as a means of promoting gender equality. Biases and stereotypes about gender are all too common in today's society, and if left unaddressed, they will lead to even more serious problems. Educating children about gender equality and a gender-neutral perspective from an early age will help them carry that mindset into their adult lives. We'd look for knowledge gaps between genders and try to close them so that everyone is on the same page.
To begin, we will attempt to create a module plan in which the various modules will be designed with knowledge gaps in mind. The modules will be a good mix of theory and in practice, with theory-related activities being brought into the learning space for the children to participate in. This would be done to assist them in putting their knowledge into practise. The modules will cover topics that are often stereotyped in society, such as health and nutrition for women and mechanics for men. Students will be encouraged to participate in all of the planned activities.
Real-life examples would be used to promote gender equality within the theory. Students will be able to share their gender perspectives through simple seminars and group discussions.
