" Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will give me the skills I need to connect with others and create lasting, positive change in my communities. I believe that it is critical to act now, more than ever, to combat the difficult challenges facing our generation. I am grateful for the support and belief that I, as a young person who has faced adversity myself, can make a difference. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: The REACH Project
The REACH Project is dedicated to providing low-income students access to free enrichment opportunities. REACH creates curriculums in a variety of creative and hands-on fields such as STEM Exploration, creative writing, self-care, and storytelling through theater. Personal development, exploration, and creativity are just as crucial as access to traditional education in schools, and low-income students especially do not have access to affordable opportunities. Currently, REACH provides its programming through Zoom due to the COVID pandemic.
