Millennium Fellowship Project: Integrating Sustainability in Columbia's Core Curriculum
Making the coursework related to sustainable development under the Core Curriculum more comprehensive and relevant to the current state of the climate crisis.
About the Millennium Fellow
Omar Kammourieh is studying Computer Science and Sustainable Development at Columbia University in the City of New York. He grew up in Kuwait, where he most notably worked on his National Geographic-funded air pollution detection project and led Kuwait’s First Experiment to Space. His passion for combatting climate change is present in all of the work he does; whether it be in his extracurricular activities on campus or his work experience at venture capital firms and the U.S. Green Chamber of Commerce.
