Millennium Fellowship Project: Let's talk
Our project is focused on SDG three which is Good health and well being. In this project we are working on mental health of school, college and university level students. "Let's Talk" project's prime goal is to let people deal with mental health issues as a friend, family or life partner.
To get an overview about our project, we are going through different department's of our university, different schools and colleges to create awareness about mental health. Our main objective is to remove toxicity when talking to friends, family or life partner.
How family, friends or life partners contributes in this toxicity we discuss it with students. We try to hear from them how they are dealing with toxicity in their daily life. We motivate them to be open about these mental health issues, be a good friend, family or life partner by hearing and understanding about others problems. So, this is how i'm involving my community, fellows worldwide
About the Millennium Fellow
Abu Syed Mamun is an emerging leader. He was born in a remote area of Bangladesh. Currently studying at University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He had a passion for education from his childhood which led him to continue his studies till the university despite various adversities. Coming to the university, he conducted various activities to ensure the quality education of the students. Which is helpful in the implementation of SDG targets. Abu Sayed considers himself a global citizen. He hopes to spread his leadership skills and ideas around the world. Through his extraordinary leadership, he was also able to manage various projects which were beneficial to his country and society and made people aware of the goals of the SDGs at the grassroots level.
