United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

" "I've lived life constantly hearing friends family and general members of the community complain about the poor quality of life or high suicide rates or the decline of societal values . complaining about it isn't enough , taking steps towards solving these problems through research , proper analysis of the issues at hand ,creative thinking , and following through on solutions arrived upon is what's needed .The skills I obtained from being a Millennium Fellow would make all this possible for me and my community." Millennium Fellowship Project: CUEA Mental Health Movement

We are a collective of students passionate about mental wellness. We are working towards building a community of individuals from all across the mental health space to foster meaningful conversations, help for the young people in our community going through difficult time and equipping them with tools towards achieving a healthy mind.

About the Millennium Fellow

Jasmine Jebichiy Keitany .She's a young quirky stary eyed young woman who really enjoys learning about the world around her and tries to make it better for all who are fortunate enough to live in it .She also strives to impact everyone she comes across even if it's through something as small as a smilesince to her it's the little things that matter .
She was born in a relatively quiet part of Kenya .She's currently in a counselling psychology program at the Catholic university of East Africa where she seees it as a stepping stone to making and impact within her community through psychology.Her favourite part about doing her degree is the extensive amount of knowledge she going in every lecture and it's practicality in terms of its impact on society .
Other than being a counselling psychology student she really enjoys being around animals .She spends most of her afternoons and free time either drowned in books ,getting to know people , covered in flour as an attempt at baking since she hasn't yet quite mastered the art of baking .her personal favourite is having a cat or a dog in her lap quietly napping at a local animal shelter .
Overally Jasmine's an ambitious young woman who's ready to put herself out there,find her place in life and use whatever recourses she has available to her to help people live healthier ,more meaningful lives .She strongly believes that Millennium Fellowship is the key to her achieving all this.
