" I am passionate about the Research of the Public Policy Tools (PPTs) for the promotion of Global Citizenship Education (GCED) and the study of Education Sustainable Development, which can be seen as a crucial part of the globalization trend, in a large sense. I am committed to exploring solutions in the field of public policy that promote universal access to GCED as I'm a beneficiary of global citizenship education, and I hope that more young learners will benefit from the further innovations and changes towards GCED as I have. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Global Citizenship Education Promotion in Asian-Pacific Region: Policy solutions for ESD

In this project, I explore the absence of GCED in the primary education system in schools in multiple locations in China, using the largest developing country - China - as a representative case study. Through fieldwork and group interviews in more than 10 secondary schools, I provide policy options for local governments to improve GCED based on feedback from students and young teachers. At the same time, in this project, I co-organized an academic seminar summit and funding summit for the popularization of GCED in developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region through a partnership with UNESCO. At the summit, leading educators from universities, UNESCO leaders and UN Academic Impact staff, and prominent entrepreneurs from the community participated in the summit to contribute to the spread of GCED in developing countries. In addition, the project provided policy solutions on how to channel resources from international organizations to help address GCED educational inequities in those countries, and presented policy memoranda to local governments and international organizations.
