Millennium Fellowship Project: China Cervical Cancer Research

The main aim of my research is to clealy address the current situation of cervical cancer prevention and control in China. I plan to annalysis this probelm thorough discribing the current achievements that we made, the current problems in the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer in China, the development of screening methods, the immunization of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine and the research, development and marketing of HPV vaccine in China.

About the Millennium Fellow

Siran Luo is a young, passionate and ambitious global health student in the Dukekunshan university. She was born in Nanjing which is a beautiful city in the south of China. Her families were all doctors and she also took an interest in medicine spontaneously because of this influential family atmosphere. Determined to get into the best medical college in this region, she kept working hard and come closer and closer to her dream. However, the outbreak of COVID-19 not only forced her families to fight to protect the people but also made her to re-examine her dream. Siran suddenly realized how strong her wish was to help solve out the harsh problem of public health day by day. Therefore, she chooses a different way and attend to the Dukekunshan university. Now, she at last finds out that both ways are actually the same way for her because both ways leads her to passionately engage to fight for better life for whole people in the world.
