" Driven by critical, innovative thinking and impactful living, Millennium Fellowship is no doubt the place to enhance this skills to achieve global impact.
Learning and growing in this community will in no small way affect the level and delivery of social impact in my school and community.
It would also help me know and carry out more activities that are aligned with the UNAI principles and SDGs.
I am excited about being the change and bringing the change my school and community needs to live healthier and better lives. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Your Depression Hotline!
Our project " Your Depression Hotline" aims at creating a support group and a safe environment where depressed individuals can learn self-help behaviors to better deal with depression. Support groups are a proven way of dealing with many clinical issues that affect mental health as they create a sense of community and togetherness among people suffering from similar problems thereby improving their convalescence. We plan to use this knowledge to help our target audience. It doesn't end there, we will also be enlightening the entire student population on major causes of depression and self-help behaviors to better deal with depression. We also aim at improving the public's perception of depression. It is not a terminal illness, neither is it an evil phase but it is something we can all fight together.
