" "If you want to run faster , run alone but if you want to reach far take the journey with someone else" I hope to share different experiences and ideas with my Fellow young people in order to find solutions for the problems in our communities. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: EcoSave

I want to begin a project that is related to Agriculture and its main aim is to educate the girls in my community who cant afford school fees most especially at secondary level. The idea is to begin a farm (growing mainly irish potatoes , piggery and poultry ). where the money will be lent to people and returned with profits, these profits will be used to sponsor girls from my rural community to attend secondary school.

About the Millennium Fellow

Promise is a young determined woman studying at Earth University ( bachelor's degree in agricultural sciences and natural resource management). She is from Uganda and grew up from an economically disadvantaged background and witnessed how many of her Fellow girls were unable to attain education but she worked hard in school and attained scholarships that enabled her to aquire education. Her dream is to see the narrative change and see girls in her community attain education through empowering them with agriculture.
