United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Environmental Awareness at Egerton University

The Environmental Awareness project is a project aimed to mobilize youth at Egerton university to join hands together in maintaining a clean environment and provide information about the role and responsibility of the community to maintain a clean environment.

About the Millennium Fellow

Fabiola Niyonshuti is Rwandese by nationality, born in 1998 a fourth-year student at Egerton University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology. She is a social agent driven by the spirit of serving the community through solving social challenges by using locally available resources. She is currently working with farmers on the reduction of post-harvest losses through the value addition of farm produce. she is happy to be given an opportunity to serve as Millennium campus director at Egerton university and is willing to be successful in her leadership journey by using Millennium 's core values,Empathy, Humility, and Inclusion.
