Millennium Fellowship Project: Environmental Awareness at Egerton University

The Environmental Awareness project is a project aimed to mobilize youth at Egerton university to join hands together in maintaining a clean environment and provide information about the role and responsibility of the community to maintain a clean environment.

About the Millennium Fellow

Quinta Otieno has over 3years’ experience in humanitarian services under; advocacy on Menstrual health and hygiene, environmental conservation, peer education; alcohol and drug addiction counseling and project management. Quinta is a 3rid year student at Egerton University and currently volunteers at Giselle foundation as project coordinator child welfare and management program. She is the founder Global Save Foundation, an alumna of Pacemaker International and HERZ ambassador .Quinta is a trained Menstrual health champion, youth advocate and climate justice activist. Quinta has key skills in leadership, advocacy, computer, communication, facilitation and managerial. She is proficient in both oral and written English, Luo and Swahili languages. Quinta is driven by passion to impact a positive change in her surrounding by empowering the youth to fully exercise their leadership skills.
