Millennium Fellowship Project: Environmental Awareness at Egerton University
The Environmental Awareness project is a project aimed to mobilize youth at Egerton university to join hands together in maintaining a clean environment and provide information about the role and responsibility of the community to maintain a clean environment.
About the Millennium Fellow
When no one else believes in you, believe in yourself. Rose Poka is a young lady who is enthusiastic and outgoing. She is on the road to becoming an Educator and Mentor. She is a lover of the outdoor and adventure. In the last few years, this has served as a strength as she leads, guides and assesses young people on expeditions.
She has served as a leader in many spaces and in so doing, improved her interpersonal skills. She has served as a volunteer also in spaces such Red Cross, St John Ambulance and The duke of Edinburgh Award Program. She has been led as well and engaged in teamwork for collective success.
She loves to get involved. She appreciates being part of the change. She believes in the infinite potential of young people and wants to help them maximize it.
