" "The Millennium Fellowship will help me learn how to further develop my leadership skills in order to make strides with my cause. With this type of exposure, I could expand on new and creative ideas that could elevate the social impact I aim to have when working with disadvantaged communities. I believe that a prestigious program such as Millennium Fellowship would make me a better leader and will improve the ideas that I have for Global Medical Brigades". "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Collecting Medical Donations for Brigade to Honduras

My project focuses on collecting medical supplies that will be given to impoverished communities through Global Medical Brigades. This project directly works toward the goal of good health and well-being from the UN sustainable development goals. The main mission of Global Medical Brigades is to improve the quality of healthcare in impoverished communities through medical care and educational opportunities. As a member of the Global Medical Brigades, I would not only be a part of collecting supplies for the community we work with, but I also will be a volunteer of the Brigade and assist in providing medical care as well.
