About the Millennium Fellow

Jessica Miceli is a rising junior studying Biochemistry at Florida Gulf Coast University. She is passionate about women’s healthcare and reducing health disparities in her local community. She, herself, was diagnosed with a gynecological-related issue, and being a young woman, felt lost and uncomfortable in her own healthcare journey. She wishes to reduce this feeling
for other young women, and build trust between them and their healthcare providers through education and advocacy projects in an effort to prevent reproductive health issues.
