Health psychology is the study of psychological and behavioural processes in health, illness, and healthcare. It is concerned with understanding how psychological, behavioural, and cultural factors contribute to physical health and illness. Psychological factors can affect health directly. And In Pakistan, there is an immense need to change the notions the general public has. We will basically are going to introduce the idea of driving a healthy life with beliefs we build through the various experiences in our lives.
Therefore, it is a dire need to introduce or advocate the concept of health psychology among medical undergraduates. In order to improve their mental health conditions. We will organise a webinar on this topic. With a workshop on knowing their beliefs or analysing them through the Health Belief Model and Protection Motivation Theory.
