" Competency and an artistic mindset have opened new doors in my life. Millennium Fellowship is one of them. It will foster my capabilities and aim towards bringing gender equality and social change in supervision with UNAI principles and SDGs. I believe it would be a milestone to enhance my comprehension and skills and give me a chance to meet strong advocates of change and empowered women all around the Globe. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: He-She Win

The target of my project is to put an effort on gender equality. I have planned to conduct sessions and educate children of Federal Government schools near to my university about the gender based stereotypes of the society which bound them to behave in a specific way. For instance doing home chores is girls responsibility while doing by boys is considered shameful, light colors are for girls while dark colors are for boys, ambitions and goals are restricted, etc., these all things are created by the society and i believe that these are restricting genders.
To change such stereotypical mindsets of the Federal Government schools students i would be arranging different sessions, activities, games, assessments, personal assessments, and many more. My manifesto would be to change their thinking that girls have the same tendency to perform the things which boys can do.
I would be benefiting approximately 250 students, so my project would be based on four modules. First would be introductory session where i would rebuild their knowledge towards genders knowledge and stereotypes. Second would be focusing on their empowerment or skills identification. Third would be creating harmony and respect between both genders and last would be assessment of their understanding.
